Projection Clocks? Hi there, I was wondering if you could help me...I have been looking for a Projection Clock for a Christmas present and although I have found many on-line there is a problem I keep coming across. I am looking for one that projects the time on the celling or wall at all times, the ones I've found only stay lit up for a few mins or you have to push a button to get it to come back on. Anyone know of one that won't shut off in the middle of the night? Thanks in advance! :o) Logan_brett replied: "Not too sure , the only ones I have seen , are the ones where u push a button , and the time will shine up , I dont know if there are any , that the time is constnatly shinning , as it would be very distracting , and also take up alot of electricity ,
Althougth I can see that it would be very handy sometimes." Do you get projection clocks that are not atomic? I need a simple clock that projects the time on the ceiling and I dont stay in the US.
I mean, will it work without the atomic function...why should I pay for something which I am not going to use at all? Eviliser replied: "You can turn off the atomic clock sync function if you don't want to use it.
You will not pay a significant premium for the atomic clock sync function." explain the theory behind thermo projection clocks? how it displays the time & changes colour to different temperatures? MattyG replied: "It picks up a radio signal (aka radiowave) that automatically sets the time and date. The projection device just projects the time (maybe date too) onto a wall or ceiling (depending on the angle you adjust it to)." Where can I find this specific type of projection clock? I am seeking a self-setting projection clock radio that has an outdoor sensor and indoor sensor for temperature. I want a clock that projects the time, the indoor temperature, and the outdoor temperature. It also needs to be a radio alarm clock. I have searched Oregon Scientific and I can't find it. Has anyone seen a clock like this? Does anyone know where I could find a projection clock with ipod dock and cd player? My old cdplayer/serero just died out on me and I'm looking for a replacement. It can no long play cds.
I have checked those stores online. I am not looking for the name of a store, I am more so looking for a name of what I listed above. a cd player/ipod docking station with a projection clock.
I'm trying to find one that matches my needs. Listing the names of stoes without a link to the product I described doesn't help me much. •Christina• replied: "Walmart?
BestBuy?
Sears?" Why wont my projection clock show the outdoor temperature? Oregon Scientific::
i placed the remote for it outside like it said. it said that the clock will just pick it up... but it wont. How do i get it to work? gilphilloz replied: "How far did you place it outside from the in-house unit? Start by holding the in-house unit in your hand close to the outside sensor and start walking away from it until it no longer registers a reading. Your manual should give you a distance like 100 ft or so." I have a Acctim Projection Clock, How do I set the Alarm? I got an Acctim Clock for my Birthday, and chucked out the instructions! How do I set the alarm? It has the following Buttons:
- Alarm On/Off
- Time Set
- Mode
- +
- -
- Light - Snooze
- Continue Projection
and a small hole that says 'DC 3V' ilive projection clock doesnt work.? how do i fix it?
in the manual all it says is how to turn the projection clock on.
i already set the time on the radio part but all i am getting on the projection clock is 08:88 as the time.
how do i fix that to the real time? Ktridge709 replied: "hmmm.... I have the same clock, but when i set it im pretty sure it set both the projection and the radio part at the same time. You don't set them individually i don't think. I would call the company or the store you got it from and tell them that its not working right. I don't know if it came with a warranty or anything, but maybe you can get a replacement." How do I get this to work? For Christmas my daughter got a Memorex projection clock radio but when we turn on the projection button it doesn't keep the same time as the clock it actually just stays on the time you set it. Am I doing something wrong or is this function just for looks? I lost the manual so I am clueless...
